This conference, focusing on tourism development in Central and South East Europe, brought together industry leaders, academics and policy makers to share knowledge experiences and propose solutions that would define the future of tourism in this region. Focusing on promotion, education and new tourism concepts, the conference aimed to improve regional tourism practices and promote sustainable growth.
The conference addressed the challenges facing entities in this sector and interest groups by providing innovative solutions to attract and engage tourists effectively. In addition, it offered an opportunity to explore the themes of the tourism sector in the region, as well as challenges in tourism promotion, tourism education and its impact on quality tourism services and development beyond classical tourism. The exchange between regional partners, the exposure of different approaches and views, and challenges are important for understanding and learning from each other's experiences, creating wider spaces for development and advancement in a regional framework.
